Big Bear also has a little rescue zoo. They get animals that have been injured in the wild and they nurse them back to health then let them go if they can get them healthy enough to. Ryan was really excited because they had a snow leopard there which is Ryan's favorite animal. They also had a family of grizzly bears a mom and two cubs that really weren't cubs anymore they were like 600 pounds. We got there in time to watch them feed the animals the kids thought that was pretty exciting. For as small as the zoo is it was actually a pretty good zoo.
