We are so extremely proud of Amrika she made the honor roll! They have really strict guidelines to get on the honor roll and that has been her goal to be able to get on the honor roll she almost made it last semester but she was still a little behind on her math. She is just like her mother and is an excellent reader but has to work extra hard to stay up in math. She has worked so hard this year. The first semester she was at a 1.5 in math which is really low (1st grade math) she is finishing in 3rd grade math!!! To make honor roll they have to be at least one grade level above what they are in Math and Reading. She is ending the year in reading at a 4th grade level. She really does inspire me to keep trying even when things get rough set the goal and don't give up. She also got a certificate for meeting her AR goal every term and a good citizen award. We are so proud of her!!!

Side note: As you can see she is wearing a jacket, when we left the house this morning it was 70 degrees and she said it was cold so she put on her jacket at the time this picture was taken it was 80 degrees and she still thought it was cold! She has lived in the desert too long!
