Davin's Birthday

Ryan actually took Davin's birthday off and we went to Disneyland. We had a lot of fun and it wasn't too busy either. Davin got to pick all the rides we went on. His faovrite rides were all the rollercoaster rides and the Buzz Lightyear ride we went on twice because he liked it so much and there wasn't a line. We had a lot of fun celebrating his birthday these last few days and are so proud of our Davin-Boy!

Chucke Cheese Party!

Davin had a small friend birthday party the day after his birthday at Chucke Cheese. He decided he wanted it to be a costume party so they all dressed up in whatever costume. He had a lot of fun playing the different games and being with friends.

Miracles Do Happen!!

Yesterday Ryan had to go take a test to get his California teaching license and when he came home he brought me these beautiful flowers! I was shocked! He use to do this all the time pre-children and occasionally Amrika would talk him into buying some when they would go to the store by themselves. I like to tease Ryan and remind him how romantic he was and he would always say he would do it again which of course I didn't believe but he did. I had to take a picture because it had been so long and who know when I will get it again!

Happy Easter!

Kids posing after the Easter Egg hunt!

Kids finding their Easter eggs!
Look what the Easter bunny brought!

Today was a beautiful Easter day. It was nice and sunny and warm. It was the best day we have seen for quite some time. The kids got summer clothes instead of church clothes this year since they have enough church clothes and not enough summer clothes. Ryan and Davin both got boogie boards, which they are so excited to use. Amrika got lots of Littlest Pet Shops and Titus got a fuzzy ball (which his older siblings already broke) and sipper cups. Our friends the Player's invited us over for Easter dinner and Easter egg hunt after church. It was a lot of fun and of course excellent food. Titus figured out how to do the Easter egg hunt this time and had a lot of fun collecting the eggs.

Wild Animal Park

Amrika posing in front of the sleeping Lions.

Davin excited to see one of his favorite animals the Rhinoceros. He was so excited once we finally found them.

The kids feeding and petting some kind of African animal.

We went to the Wild Animal Park on Thursday. Ryan was more excited then the kids. He loves animals. It was really busy, good thing it is so big and spread out. It was the perfect day, not too hot not too cold. We have a year pass so you will probably be seeing more posts of the animal park.

San Diego Temple

So we had plans to take a picture of our family outside of the San Diego temple to update our very out of date one, Davin was almost one in our old one. But of course Davin decided he didn't want anyone taking a picture of him besides his mom or dad. So when the nice sister missionary said she would take our picture Davin took of and hid. So we had to take the pictures separate, We did get one of us altogether that sure turned out good. Don't you think?

My Happy Place!

Seals laying on the beach with their pups!
Getting ready for the big waves to splash them.

Davin and Ryan playing on the beach.

Our little surfer boy!
While we were in San Diego area. We had to go to my happy place. La Jolla Cove. I love this place. It always makes me so relaxed and happy when I am there. Since it was only 69 degrees, we decided we would just walk around and watch the seals, but once we were done watching the seals and their pups we decided we would get our feet wet. Getting our feet wet went to Davin falling in a big wave and getting drenched and Amrika to soon follow. We all had so much fun. I already can't wait to go back to my happy place.

Spring Break is almost over.

I am trying to get all caught up on Spring Break activites we got home last night and loved sleeping in our own beds in our own rooms. There is nothing better than your own home, no matter how much fun you had. We had a lot of fun seeing family and enjoying what we grew up doing in good old PG. On Wednesday we are leaving out of town again! I know we are silly. We are going to San Diego for a couple of days, so I will be posting those pics when we get back.So enjoy the pictures and like always I posted them backwards. Maybe one day I will remember not do that. So these are all just random pictures so I will try to expalin each one. The top one is of me and some of my High School friends we met up on Wednesday night when I was up there and went to dinner it was so fun to see everyone again and see what they are all up to now. Most of these gals I haven't seen for almost 10 years. I can't believe we are old enough to say that. We had a lot of fun giggling and hearing stories. The bathtub picture is of Amrika and Davin in grandma and grandpa Miles' bathtub. They loved taking baths in their tub because when they turned on the jets it would make bubbles. Titus didn't like the jets.

Easter Egg Hunt

While we were in PG Ryan's parents did an Easter Egg Hunt for all the grandkids. I keep forgetting Easter is this Sunday. Anyway the kids had a lot of fun finding their eggs of course. Titus was more interested in eating the candy then finding the eggs. Whenever he found an egg he had to open it right then and eat the candy. Then the kids got to decorate their own cupcakes. Also we had a delicious dinner. I gained at least 5 pounds by eating all the delicious food we ate these last few weeks. I am afraid to get on the scale. I think I will work out for a few days first and then step on the scale.

Clark Planetrium

On Friday we went up to the Clark Planetarium the kids had a really fun time looking at all the things. Their favorite was the Mars and Moon display. They played on that for a long time. Then we went and seen a 3D movie. It was a lot of fun. The kids really enjoyed the 3D since they have never been to one before. They were really fun to watch trying to grab the fish and things that were coming at you. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for taking us there.

Classic Skating

When I was a yougester there was a time that I went to Classic Skating all the time. I realized my kids have never even tried roller skating before, so I decided to have my children try skating. It was a lot of fun! At first they didn't like it so much becuase they kept falling but then they realized that is part of learning and had a lot of fun. My nephew and Dad also came with us.

Jump On In

On Tuesday while we were in PG we went to Jump On In with Ryan's family. The kids had a lot of fun jumping on the big trampolines. Titus was really nervous at first but the last 20 minutes he finally started getting use to it. The kids had a good time wrestling with their uncles and cousins too. I think the adults may have liked it even more than the kids.

Snow in Spring?

So we were in Pleasant Grove for 7 days. Out of those 7 days it snowed on 4 of those. It reminded me of all the reasons I don't want to move back there. The kids were excited about it the first day, even though they only played out there for 30 minutes. The next time they went out for maybe 45 minutes then after that it was no longer exciting and they felt like everyone else, why in the world does it keep snowing?! I feel for all of you Northern Utah people that just stinks, it should be nice and sunny and warm. I by the way just watched from the window, I already got my feel for snow in the actual winter time.

Mayfield

We started off our spring break by going to visit my sister and brother-in-law and nieces in Mayfield. My kids were so excited to go back to Mayfield. They have only been there twice and they love it. They had a good time just playing outside in the backyard most of the time. It was pretty good weather not as cold as Northern Utah we came to find out. They also took us over to see some petroglyphs and we went to Aysha's soccer game. It was a lot of fun!
