Thanksgiving

My parents came out to visit for Thanksgiving this year! We had so much fun with them it was way too fast of a trip though and we miss them already. Here is the crew working hard to get our meal prepared. My dad cooked the turkey outside in this homemade oven type of thing. It was so yummy!

More San Diego Zoo

We took my parents to the San Diego Zoo with us yesterday. The kids had a good time posing with all the animal statues. The Zoo was really busy but it really didn't feel all that busy once we were inside. That is one of the benefits of having such a huge zoo, I guess.

March Field Air Force Base

While my parents were here then Ryan and my dad took the kids to a local air force base. They ended up getting a little lost and got there too late after it was closed. So they just walked around the outside of the air force base. Here are some of the pictures they got.

San Diego Zoo

We celebrated Veteran's Day by going to San Diego Zoo. It was a beautiful day, perfect weather and not too many people. When we went in the Panda viewing area there was hardly anyone in there so we got lots of good pictures of the panda bears. The kids had a wonderful time. The only bad part of the day is it went way too quick hopefully we will be going again next week when grandma and grandpa are visiting.

My Absolutely Beautiful Wife

Maria will not be happy with me when she knows that I hacked into her blog, but I just wanted everyone to see how cute my wife is. No matter what she does she always looks so cute and she is so funny. I love being around her, she is such a great person and a great mom. She always posts things about her family but she doesn't get the credit she deserves.
Maria sorry I had to do it.

P.S. I love you and your not beautiful your beyond it!!!

Davin's Guardian Angel

Yesterday Davin and Titus were outside playing in the front yard, they I guess were playing on or around the fountain. Ryan came out to check on them to find the fountain broken like this and Davin was laying under it. Ryan ran over and lifted the people off of him and pulled Davin out. Davin definitely has an angel watching out for him. This thing could have crushed him or at least broken some bones, but somehow he walked away with only a bruise on his arm. The statue is so heavy that Ryan can't even lift on his own. I asked him how he did it before and he said he didn't know, he just pulled it off. I guess that is when the adrenaline kicks in. This just was another incident that reminded us that Davin has so much more work to do in this life and Heavenly Father definitely has an angel or two watching over him, which we are so grateful for!

Happy Halloween

We went Trick or Treating around our neighborhood on Halloween it was near perfect weather for Trick or Treating, not too cold not too hot. The Player family came out to go with us so that was fun to have some one else to go along with us. Amrika was a fall fairy this year, Davin was Wolverine, and Titus was a tiger.

Halloween Fun

On Friday the kids school did their Halloween parade. There were lots of cute costumes and the kids liked it because they got a bag of candy. On Saturday after their soccer games we carved pumpkins. Davin carved his own this year and made it into a vampire. For some reason he is really into vampires lately.
